A Drinksetter interview published on 2 December 2025 marks a new step: in 2025, Scyfion’s numbered releases went on sale at Silpo.
Ruslan explains that Scyfion buys its casks through brokers, and that agreements sometimes restrict naming the distillery on the label. L55 Mystery Distillery was conceived as a Halloween whisky riddle and finished in a Marsala cask that had previously held Laphroaig.
The piece is marked as partner material on Drinksetter, Silpo’s drinks media. It also recalls that Distilleries of the XXI Century began as a joint initiative three years earlier.
