Selected unanimously by Scotch88 members at an August 2019 tasting, this Orkney malt then spent six years in a Château Chizay barrique. Its Ukrainian wine-cask finish connects the community’s affection for Scotland and Ukraine. Tasting notes: editorial paraphrase of Serge Valentin’s Whiskyfun review (2026-02-25); external notes, not official Scyfion notes.
Nose
Pepper, raisins and floral fruitiness, developing mineral and waxy notes.
